Subject: Re: A Matter Of Uniqueness
My Dear Clan Relatives,
There is one book which I believe
explains what you are attempting to say better than any other.
It's called Erin's Blood Royal, by Peter Berresford Ellis. In it
you will discover the clever and crafty techniques implemented
to displace and remove all Gaelic power in Ireland, replacing
the authority of our Irish chiefs of all major clans with
English sanctioned sworn allegiance, whether by force or other
"divide and conquer" techniques, employed by the Crown of
England and it's allies.
Clan Donald is not by any means, the
sole target of Anglo manipulation of all Celtic peoples, lands
and titles, for they were all subjugated and overpowered by the
superior might and resources of our sworn enemies to all things
"foreign" and "inferior" to "Her Majesty's
Tudor Empire." The plantation of Ireland and the Clearances
of Scotland testify to that fact. The truth is that England and
her government set about removing and brainwashing the unwanted
vestiges of a race which spoke a different, "vulgar tongue" and
culture, dissimilar to their own. They simply would not tolerate
any sort of variance or resistance, to the point of eviction,
banishment, or even death, if need be, to insure the stability
of an Anglo world. Banning a language, a way of life and even
the "instrument of war," the bagpipe were tools for total and
absolute control during the ensuing centuries to come.
Only recently have such policies been
curtailed and our ancient origins, which so long suppressed and
stifled, have been reborn and valued as an indigenous and
wonderful lifestyle. Now, perhaps, England realizes how very
much was lost in the Anglicizing of Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
So much of our original uniqueness was forever compromised, but
we still retain our own special human identity and value. Yes,
it is true that we are set apart, but that makes us stand out
and be counted for as singular and proud people on this planet
of billions of human beings.
